A Multiplayer Networking Game
Chicken Revolution
The last SP programming project I did with Lau Meng Hong. It was a pair project that required us to make a multiplayer game the would require Unity's networking system to work.
The game's premise is quite similar to games like Dead by Daylight. Our game revolves around players choosing to play as either a farmer (up to 4 of them) or a chicken. The farmer's goal is simple, they need to collect 5 randomly placed eggs on the map and they have the ability to do a short sprint. The lone chicken will have to track down and catch these farmers and eliminate them by pecking them 2 times before they can collect all the eggs they need.
For this project, I did most of the map editing, character controls and did a bit of networking as it was a first for me. Meng Hong did most of the networking as he was quite experienced with it beforehand.
